At about 3 o’clock on December 17th 2007 the villagers of the Sanlian VillageFengyuanTownshipLinweiDistrictWeinanCity beat the drums and gongs boisterously; the women did the yangko dance and sang the Shaanxi opera to meet the arrival of Global Climate Change and Environmental Science Delegation of United States.

Led by Ph.D. Susan MacGregor (Chief Researcher of Battelle Institute, Ohio USA), the head of the delegation, 20 foreigners visited the system of pig –biogas- lavatory- fruit( vegetables) of Sanlian Village Fengyuan Township. This delegation is the second after the delegation of Japan Gunma women's delegation (22 members led by 登坂建一). Wang Mingying, the President of the Shaanxi Volunteer Mothers Association for Environmental Protection, Zhang Ping, the Chairman of the Linwei District Women’s Federation, Yin Canjun, the Party Branch Secretary of FengyuanTown, accompanied the delegation to visit.

The delegation went to the villagers homes and watched how the farmers used the biogas to cooking, heating water and lighting. Han Minzhou, the Village Director introduced the practical benefits of the biogas project. After constructing the biogas project, the faeces of livestock and poultry have been used rationally, the energy been saved, the village environment been improved, the women can devote more time to build a new rural villages. Especially utilization is that the biogas slurry can be spraying fertilizer and bactericide, the biogas residual can be fertilizer, so that fruit quality has been improved. It is truly achieved the green and pollution-free fruit production for reducing pesticide residues. The delegations are interested in the biogas project of the Sanlian village. They praise constantly after tasting the pollution-free fruit which have been fertilized biogas liquid.

The delegations were deeply impressed by the hospitality Sanlian villagers. They take photos with the villagers and dance Yangkos with the drums dot. The delegation presented an appreciation certificate to Sanlian villagers to encourage his (her) hard work in eco energy development
