The First Training of Give 2 Asia Rural Village Biogas Technique Service Key people Training Project was conducted in Hanzhong City

From March 17th to 21st, funded by Give 2 Asia, implemented by Shaanxi Volunteer Mothers Association for Environmental Protection, the first session of Rural Village Biogas Technique Service Key People Training Project was conducted in ChangchengBuilding, Hantai District, HanzhongCity. There were 53 people such as farmer technicians (from Baota District, HuanglingCounty, DaliCounty, LantianCounty, YongshouCounty, Linwei District, XunyangCounty, NingshanCounty, HantaiCountyetc.) , the project officers of counties women’s federation and the cadres of counties’ energy office.

Wang Junpeng, the Officer of the Northwest Energy Center of Ministry of Agriculture, the Professor of Northwest A & F University; Du Yongnian, the Engineer of Hantai District Energy Office; Yang Fenxia, the senior veterinary surgeon of Hantai District Animal Husbandry Center, Wang Mingying, the President of Shaanxi Volunteer Mothers Association for Environmental Protection trained the trainees.The main content of the training were the technique and management of the Rotating High-efficient Biogas Tank, comprehensive utilization of the biogas liquid and the new technique of flushing the toilet with biogas liquid, scientific breeding the pigs and the prevention and cure of common diseases , ecological energy and sustainable development etc. The Mothers Association also invited the salesman of the Hanzhong Yinghuayu Electric Equipment Corporation to introduce the installment method and utilization of the biogas geyser

On March 20th, in the heavy rain the methane technology backbones visited the toilet flushing equipment and the biogas geyser of the demonstration households of MoqiaoVillage in Hantai District. They listened to Zhang Jiuqin, the chief of the MoqiaoVillage and the leader of the biogas technical service team to introduce the related experience of their service team.

After the visit, the trainees reviewed and discussed the training and the inspection in the past few days. They discussed and decided the service measures when they returning to their village. Every village recommend a representative to describe their measures and share with others. After the discussion and exchange, the trainees considered that through this training; firstly, they have learned the new knowledge and new skills onbiogas construction and management, widened their vision field, strengthened their consciousness of responsibility on ecology energy, save energy and reduce emission.; Secondly, they have found the problems and disparity in their village on biogas management. When they go back they will publicity to other biogas demonstration households and the villagers, solves their problem. Thirdly, they have learned the experience of the Moqiao village, then they will set up biogas services organization in their own village, the key is how to compensated public welfare services and suitable paid services.
