





“The Sunflower Project”, initiated in 2005, aims to promote village biogas in rural China by capacity building village women and farmers to retrofit their pigsties, toilets and kitchen stoves.The pig-waste-into-biogas project is a partnership between Ms Wang Ming-ying of the Shaanxi Mothers Environmental Protection Volunteers Association and Ms Mrs. Mei Ng, UNEP Global 500 Laureate and former Director of Friends of the Earth (HK).Ms Cherie Chung, Hong Kong celebrity-turned-nature-photographer also lent her support. |
