Factory workers and admin staff in the Leo Group Plant in Heshan, Guangdong were energized by an environmental workshop presented by FoE(HK)’s dynamic advocator Mei Ng on April 11, 2008.

“Carbon neutral our Climate debt” is the theme of the workshop.Through interactive and lively discussion, the blue collars learnt about climate risks and climate responsibility.Lifestyle and habit quiz helped to highlight the small steps that everyone can take to neutralize the carbon load.

Think globally act locally, blue collars are challenged to think about the hidden costs of resource consumption.The audience is invited to reflect the big foot on the small planet.

The workshop shifts into Green English mode.Guess which country’s citizen has the biggest footprint?America? UK? Japan? China?The audience was amused by the green English guessing game.

A post workshop survey showed that the blue collars gave high marks for the workshop.They asked for more.
